The vehicle was modified by Freedom Motors in 2011, for rear-entry wheelchair access.
The vehicle can hold the driver, front passenger, 2 rear passengers + the wheelchair.
High-quality INQLINE winch and restraint were added in July 2023.
The winch allows for mechanically controlled loading and unloading of an adult wheelchair patient without needing a long ramp.
The restraint mechanism is extremely strong and secure.
There is some slight damage on the front passenger side bumper. Initially,
I had an imported Japanese modified NOAH, which was extremely difficult to manage to load the wheelchair passenger and the restraint system failed on 2 occasions.
The Kia feels so secure and strong, definitely better for an adult passenger and the winch made loading a 100kg passenger easy.
