2018 Batec Hybrid Electric Handbike
Description
Well Looked After, Rides Beautifully
Keen to get out and about? This handbike clips onto your wheelchair and turns it into a proper little all-rounder. Use the hand cranks for a workout, or let the electric motor do the heavy lifting on hills and longer trips. It’s great for coastal paths, parks, the shops, or just getting some fresh air.
What you get:
- Electric assist plus hand cranks, so you can choose how hard you work
- Battery and charger included (36V Li-ion)
- Disc brakes for good, reliable stopping
- Gears with an easy twist-grip shifter
- Chunky Maxxis tyre that handles grass, gravel and rough footpaths
- Front light and bell
Condition: very good
It’s been regularly serviced and runs really well. I’m a careful rider, so it’s had an easy life. Being upfront about the small stuff:
- One handle is slightly bent from a couple of falls. Doesn’t affect the ride.
- One of the brake wires is slightly bent, but the brakes work perfectly.
- The Sigma bike computer doesn’t work. It’s included as-is and is cheap to replace.
- A few cosmetic marks from normal use.
Please note: You’ll need a mounting bracket to suit your own fixed-frame wheelchair. Batec or your local mobility supplier can sort this out.
Inspections welcome. Genuine enquiries only, please.
