This is an Autochair LP Smart Lifter and fittings for Kia Carnival.
The Lifter is fitted onto a rear mounting which attaches in the rear of the 2023 Carnival over the top of the third row of seats.
Fitting it does not require any vehicle modifications as the mounting is engineered to utilise the rear seat mounts.
The unit is powered from the standard rear power point.
This unit has worked very well and is only now being sold as my wife has now passed away and thus, then powerchair transport capability is no longer required.
The soft foam under the chair is to only collect any water or dirt from the chair.
The LP hoist can be removed from the KIA fitting and installed in a different vehicle.
This hoist was purchased privately, not Government funded.
