Permobil M300 HD Heavy Duty Power Electric Wheelchair
This wheelchair has been a reliable wheelchair for my wife who suffered from Lymphedema.
It has an extra wide seat and can accommodate a passenger of up to 208 kg.
It is versatile, robust and sturdy and my wife was able to manoeuvre in and out of her Doctors office regularly.
The chair has a seat belt and padded seat and backrest as well as pad footrests which can be adjusted.
It has flip-up armrests, a joystick and a small console easy to use at your fingertips.
There are two-speed ranges - Indoor and outdoor and both ranges have 5-speed settings.
The outdoor max speed setting is a brisk walk and the indoor minimum setting is slow enough to carefully manoeuvre through tight doorways.
The whole chair can fully recline, great for assisting with chair-to-bed and bed-to-chair transfers and the seat also can go up and down, helpful to reach items in the supermarket that would otherwise be out of reach.
My wife went into hospital in late October this year and unfortunately, she died in early December.
The chair was regularly serviced and the main controller was just replaced in late October.
The chair runs all day on full charge and the batteries must be good.
Also comes with a charger.
It also has a seat belt and a headrest which is important to have installed when travelling in a vehicle to give head support in case the vehicle suddenly brakes.
The seat will likely and footrests will likely need to be adjusted to match the new owner's dimensions.
Overall a very reliable, sturdy and reliable chair.
