We bought this walker/wheelchair for mum after she had a mini stroke that meant she could no longer walk long distances. The ability to convert the walker to a wheelchair was a game-changer and meant she could continue our outings in comfort. It is compact and easily transportable in a regular car. Mum found it easy to use as a walker with its adjustable handles. We found it easy to navigate, and it was safe to use with great manoeuvrability, due to its large wheels and short wheelbase. It has had very limited use as mum suffered further strokes and was admitted to an Aged Care Home for 24-hour care. It comes with 2 accessories: a non-slip seat pad and a seat belt.
We chose the small size as it was recommended for someone 1.55-1.85m tall and can accommodate someone up to 125kg. The handle height is adjustable, and with a width of 45cm, it is easy to use in supermarkets and narrow spaces, such as in small bedrooms and bathrooms.
